Learners can get lessons and training from professional instructors in the Hikkaduwa and Arugumbay areas. Year after year lot of Australians, Americans and European surfers used to come for the season time.

If you are visiting here, you can get good transportation, accommodation and the required surfing gears, fins, hand boards and goggles on daily rental basis. Arugam Bay.

Arugam Bay is superb international surfing spot and it is one of the International surfing competition venues. Because of this lot of foreign tourists used to come over here.
Best time to visit Arugam Bay is June, July and August. In the meantime there are lot of facilities for night time fun with fine dining facility. Also in the East and South you can find Safari operators who used to provide day time Jeep tours to witness wid elephants.

Hikkaduwa.

Hikkaduwa is located in the Southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is 98 Km from the Colombo city and 14 Km from the popular tourist destination Galle.
At tourist peak arrival time, Hikkaduwa beach looks like a typical German Village. In this Hikkaduwa beach area, International surfing competitions organized by world renowned brand products there used to take place. International surfers mostly from Europe and Australia used to take part in these events.

• Location: This is in the South East of the Island and it is 220 Km from the capital Colombo.
