Red Bull Ride My Wave 2023.

Ride My Wave 2023 the 7th edition of the international open surfing championship was sponsored by Red Bull in Sri Lanka. The event is to take place at Hikkaduwa seas in Sri Lanka. Lot of foreign and local surfers took part in this competion in Hikkaduwa Beach. It was opened for amateur and pro surfers in a two-day competition. Foreign surfers took partin this international event from 40 countries.

Arugam Bay.

Arugam Bay in Sri Lanka, a fishing village with a deserted beach, is good for surfing from the month of April till October as this is the season you can get good tides and rolls. Arugam Bay is located nearly 314 km from the Colombo City. People used to go over there with private vehicles and public transport services. Young tourists used to make there with 3 wheels (TUK TUK) in three numbers with their surf boards. Boards are available for rental over there while lot of hotels and rooms are available in this area. If you are a beginner then you can find good trainer for to teach you how to surf on the waves and tube rides. Nearest large town is Pottuvil.

When you are not in the sea then you can go around with guides on wild life watching, bird watching and there are plenty of activities wait for you. People here are friendly and helpful.
